What you’ll be doing
- Support in the development of conceptual hydrogeological models.
- Processing and interpretation of hydrogeological, hydrochemical, and
geospatial data. - Participation in field campaigns in the UAE and other GCC countries.
- Preparation of maps and figures using GIS tools (QGIS, ArcGIS).
- Collaboration on numerical modeling projects (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, etc.).
- Writing technical reports and supporting proposal preparation.
What we’re looking for:
- Degree in geology, geological engineering, environmental sciences,
hydrogeology, hydrology, or similar. - Master’s/PhD in hydrogeology, water resources, or related fields is a plus.
- Some experience in hydrogeological fieldwork.
- Proficiency in GIS tools and MS Office.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Valid driver’s license.
We Value:
- Previous experience in related projects.
- Knowledge of modeling software (MODFLOW, FEFLOW, COMSOL, HEC-RAS,
MIKE, or others). - Additional language skills: Spanish, French, Arabic.
- Proactive attitude, autonomy, and ability to work in a multicultural
environment. - Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork.
